
Dr. Abel Hittinger and Dr. Jobe Hittinger are brothers who grew up in Madison Township attending Madison Local Schools.

They are both graduates of Ohio State University and Ohio State College of Veterinary Medicine as well as completing many continuing education classes and seminars. They decided on a career in Veterinary medicine while still in Junior High School. After obtaining Veterinary Medical Licenses, they began practice at Appleseed Valley Veterinary Hospital in 1998. Recently they acquired Clearfork Veterinary Hospital in Bellville, Ohio.
Doctor Abel is married to Jill. They have 2 daughters, Grace and Natalie. They live in Lexington with their 3 dogs, 3 cats and aquarium. Dr. Abel's hobbies include running, adventure racing and coaching children's soccer.

Doctor Jobe and his wife Cheryl have two children, Hannah and Jacob. They live in Lexington with their 2 dogs, 3 cats, frogs and hermit crabs. Dr. Jobe enjoys biking, adventure racing and coaching children's soccer.
Both Doctor Abel and Dr. Jobe spend numerous hours in continuing education classes and seminars to always enable them to provide progressive medical care for their patients. They believe in preventative medicine in the least invasive manner. This includes training in Endoscopy and Ultrasound as well as constantly working to improve the quality of life of all their patients.
